CANCELLATION POLICY
This Cancellation Policy is an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of the TUK TUK Makarska d.o.o. tourist agency (hereinafter: the “Agency”) and applies to all reservations and services made by the Traveler through the Agency. Cancellation of reservations and services is subject to the conditions set out in this Policy.
1. CANCELLATION BY THE PASSENGER
Cancellation before departure
If the Traveler wishes to cancel a reservation or service, it is necessary to send a written notice to the Agency via e-mail to info@etuktoursmakarska.com or by post. The date of receipt of the notification is considered the date of cancellation.
Cancellation fees are calculated as follows:
- Up to 30 days before departure: Refund of the amount paid less administrative costs 10% of the total price.
- 3 days or more before departure: 100% of the price of the reservation or service.
- Less than 2 days before departure: 100% of the total price of the reservation or service (no refund).
Changing the date of the reservation or services
A change of date is considered a cancellation, unless otherwise agreed with the Agency and if the new reservation or service meets the conditions of the change.
Absence on the day of departure
In the event that the Traveler does not use the reservation or services without prior notice, he is not entitled to a refund.
2. CANCELLATION BY THE AGENCY
The Agency reserves the right to cancel a reservation or services due to:
- Insufficient number of registered passengers (at least 1 day before departure)
- Irregularities related to the provision of third-party services
- Force majeure (war, natural disasters, epidemics, security reasons)
In the event of cancellation by the Agency, the Traveler has the right to:
- A refund of all funds paid within 14 days.
- A replacement reservation or service of the same or higher quality, if possible.
The Agency is not responsible for additional costs incurred by the Traveler (e.g. visa issuance, travel insurance) caused by cancellation.
3. SPECIAL CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
For certain reservations or services (e.g. package arrangements, trips to special destinations, promotional offers, last-minute reservations), stricter cancellation conditions may apply. The traveler will be informed of this in a timely manner when booking.
Cancellation fees for third-party services (e.g. airline tickets, accommodation) apply according to the terms and conditions of the provider of these services.
4. REFUND
Refunds are made in the same way as the payment was made, online card payment or transaction, within 14 business days of receiving the refund request.
Administrative costs and non-refundable costs (e.g. reservation or service fees) are not included in the refund.
5. RECOMMENDATIONS TO TRAVELERS
The traveler is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance to reduce the financial risk in the event of sudden cancellations.
The traveler is responsible for informing himself about the terms and conditions of reservations or services, documents and cancellation deadlines in order to avoid additional fees.
6. FINAL PROVISIONS
This Cancellation Policy came into force on 01.01.2025 and applies to all reservations or services made after that date.
The Agency reserves the right to change the Policy, whereby the Traveler will be notified by posting on the Agency’s website.
